Blue Swallow Designs use a range of different timber species depending on the projects we are working on. Most is recycled; scavenged from household waste, old pallets, house demolitions, left-over scrap – pretty much anything that is destined for landfill or the fire is OK with us.
Aside from recycled or reclaimed we also use Tasmanian specialty timbers; offcuts or mill ends when we can but also larger slabs and planks when required.
